Crack sealing involves the hot application of a flexible product to fill the cracks, creating increased protection against water infiltration and eliminating the devastating effects of freezing and thawing. Depending on a number of factors, a well-performed seal will last approximately 3 to 8 years. This is an effective, low-cost preventive maintenance technique.
